Assembling the Wooden Map
Assembling an Enjoy the Wood world map is both informative and fun from start to finish.
The map itself comes packaged in sections that make it easy to piece together. Each piece of wood from the largest section to the tinyest detail is labeled by country and ocean names. Wooden airplanes and boats, a compass, instructions, and corner stencils also come with the map that has a lifetime warranty.
The birch plywood is durable but lightweight, meaning it can be held in place without using heavy mounts or nails. A roll of double-sided tape is included in the box for easy assembly and can be easily peeled off the wall without damage.
Smaller pieces are placed in wooden planks and can be easily popped out when ready to place on the wall.
While it is possible to assemble the map solo, it’s easier and more efficient to have a second set of eyes and hands to make sure the map is straight and properly spaced apart.
From start to finish, the total assembly time took 3-and-a-half hours.
