Ahh, Prague, Czech Republic. Known as the “City of 100 Spires,” it is by far one of the most charming European cities one could ever travel to.

If readers are looking for a hotel that is as warm and inviting as this Central European gem itself, they should look no further than the Aria Hotel Prague. Opened in 2003, Aria Hotel Prague is part of the luxury boutique hotel group the Library Hotel Collection. With additional award-winning properties located in Budapest, New York City, and Toronto, we knew we would be well taken care of.

Armed with a five-star rating and the title of “No.1 Hotel in the Czech Republic” from TripAdvisor, the customer service was top notch from the moment we walked into the lobby, to the moment we checked out. The hotels’ unique array of amenities, which we will highlight more below, helped us wind-down after our 12 hour journey from New York City.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the Lesser Town section of Prague, and is situated just steps away from iconic Charles Bridge

The hotel features a breath taking 360 degree view of Prague. While the rooftop dining area was closed during our stay in March, guests traveling in the warmer months should book a reservation for the hotel’s signature restaurant, CODA,(blog post coming on this soon), which ranks among Prague’s best fine-dining establishments.

The hotel offers all guests an unlimited complimentary breakfast spread (that includes champagne, coffee, assorted fresh-pressed juices, and mimosas). The spread includes signature breakfast items such as muffins, cereal, eggs, and meats, but also features traditional Czech dishes and snacks.

Hotel guests also have access to amenities such as a private movie theater room that holds up to six people (great for families), a fitness center, a fireplace lounge and a private entrance to the VRTBA Garden – a stunning baroque garden built in the 1700’s. Unfortunately, we stayed at Aria in March before the gardens were open, so we recommend visitors plan their stay sometime between April-September to take advantage of this gorgeous backdrop.

Aria Prague was designed by the Italian architects, Rocco Magnoli and Lorenzo Carmelini. They transformed the gray stone and yellow stucco buildings into an elegant and sophisticated setting with beautifully selected artworks. Magnoli and Carmelini’s attention to detail is easily seen in every part of the this four story luxury hotel:

Our 323 square ft. deluxe guest room was definitely a sight for sore and tired eyes. We were welcomed to an oasis with a plush king size bed, locally made Prague chocolates, views of an endless sea of Prague’s infamous red roofs, and a personalized welcome note. The spotless bathrooms were stocked with luxury Molton Brown toiletries, terrycloth bathrobes, and slippers. One of our favorite perks about the room, was the complimentary ipad, Hi-Fi audio system, and Apple TV. As travel bloggers, we felt right at home!

Aria Hotel Prague’s focus and homage to the city’s rich history and passion for whimsical music is evident throughout the property. Each floor is dedicated to a major genre of music and famous musicians, honoring Contemporary, Classical, Opera and Jazz genres with CDs, art and books guests can enjoy during their stay.

We highly recommend this boutique hotel to our readers thinking of planning a trip to Prague during any season. The unforgettable luxury and endearing character of the hotel, paired with the charm and romance of the city, transports travelers into a real life fairy tale they may never want to leave.
